With the IDAHOBIT on May 17, 2024, every 17th of the month will be declared &#8220;Sports Free Day&#8221; and used to promote the queer sports community worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Marcus Urban, co-founder of Diversero and one of the first openly gay professional footballers, is spearheading this initiative. The campaign aims to create a supportive environment and produce a film series highlighting the personal and moving coming out stories in sport.<\/p>\n<p>With Sports Free Day, we are creating a permanent place in the calendar to celebrate and advance diversity in sport.
